Creating A Healthier and More Equitable Society
LiveWell Foundation
Our Mission
The LiveWell Foundation's mission is to ensure that all people with depression have access to the support, education and prevention they need to live well.
In free, peer-led support groups, our skill-based behavioral health program empowers people to reduce their own symptoms and relapses of depression, and to live more meaningful, connected and productive lives.
Our Core Values

Equity
Because we're dedicated to mental health equity, our support services are FREE and easy to access.ā

Self-
Empowerment thru Education
Not all peer support is created equal. Our unique Guided Self-Care curriculum combines peer support with high-quality, psychoeducation.ā

Community & Connection
as "Medicine"
Research shows that peer-led education performs better than psychotherapy for the depression recovery process.ā

Commitment to Data & Evidence
Spearheaded by outside academics, we conduct an annual evaluation of all LiveWell programs to share with our constituents.
Our Impact
Leveraging social networks and education for widespread individual behavioral change

A Volunteer-Run Peer-Led Program
āWe're creating a healthier and more equitable society by putting free and effective depression support, education and prevention into the hands of people themselves.
ā
All LiveWell support groups are led by trained volunteer peers from diverse backgrounds and professions. āāāā We volunteer because we believe in the mission that all people living with depression should have access to the free and effective support they need to live well!
